Description
|
| 0x8004210A |
The
operation timed out waiting for a response from the receiving (POP)
server. You should establish whether you can telnet to port 110 of your
mail server. |
| 0x800CCC0F |
Your
mail client is unable to contact your mail server, most likely
because a firewall is preventing access or the supplied IP Address is
incorrect, or that there is a problem with your internet connection.

If you are experiencing this issue, verify that you have installed the service pack for Microsoft Office XP. |
| 0x800CCC0D |
If
you are experiencing this issue, verify that you have configured your
mail client correctly. You must either specify an IP address or a host
name as the mail server when configuring the mail client settings. If
you specify a host name then it must be defined in your DNS as a Host
record. |
| 0X800CCC0E |
This
error means that you are able to connect to the server via POP, but
your SMTP Service is either not running or is configured incorrectly.
You can verify if the SMTP service is running by using the telnet
utility to telnet to port 25 of your mail server. If the server
responds, then the issue is most likely that your mail client settings
are invalid. |
